Changelog

Release notes for the Zenovay desktop app. Every version, what changed, and why.

  1. v0.1.1

    Linux reliability

    Highlights

    • More reliable display on Linux. The window could appear blank on some setups (virtual machines, remote or headless desktops, and certain graphics drivers); it now renders correctly out of the box.
    • Smoother sign in on Linux. The Debian package now installs the small system helper the app uses to open your browser for login, so signing in works on a clean install.

    Under the hood

    • The Linux app now presents the same browser identity as the macOS and Windows apps, so login and security checks behave identically across platforms.
    • On Linux, automatic updates apply to the portable AppImage build. Installs managed by your system package manager are left untouched, with no repeated update attempts.
    • Added a full automated Linux test suite and continuous integration, so every release is verified end to end on Linux alongside macOS and Windows.
  2. v0.1.0

    Desktop app launch

    Highlights

    • A cross-platform desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
    • Sign in once through your browser and stay signed in.
    • Opens instantly and stays warm in your dock or tray.

    Under the hood

    • Signed automatic updates that install in the background.
    • A native menu bar and tray for quick access.
    • The real-time globe runs in a focused window.
